This past spring, John was elected 6th Congressional National Delegate to the RNC. He had the honor of voting for President Trump in Milwaukee. John’s experience is essential to navigate through the process of making Arapahoe County #1 in the Colorado Republican Party.
John is a husband, father and a 3rd generation Colorado Native born in Leadville.
Not a native Coloradan, but close to it, Robin O’Meara moved to Aurora from Chicago when she was four years old. She graduated from Aurora Central High School and Western State College in Gunnison. There, she enjoyed hiking, skiing, fishing, and camping while working part-time and going to school full-time, pursuing a BA in English. In her final semester, she taught at Hinkley High School and earned her Teaching Certificate in English, 7 – 12.
Shortly afterward, marriage and family brought her to Western NY; first Buffalo, where she became a Buffalo Bills fan and then she settled in Rochester to teach high school English. Robin continued her education in NY, earning a Master’s degree in Reading, K-12, and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Education Administration. During her career as an educator of 40 years, she served as a teacher, vice principal, and principal. In her capacity as a school district administrator, she had many roles: curriculum coordinator, grant writer, and professional developer. Robin returned to Colorado, eventually retiring from Summit School District in Frisco, CO as the Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Professional Development.
Throughout her career as an educator, she successfully led teams of teachers, principals, and support staff to meet the ultimate goal of increasing student academic growth. Robin retired from Summit and moved back to Aurora to live near her sister, niece, and nephew. She landed in Heather Gardens and became involved in the governance of her own community and the Heather Gardens Republican Club, serving as Secretary and now, President. Robin worked with club members to hold numerous events: fundraisers for causes and candidates, public forums, meet and greets, and “get out the vote” activities.
These roles and responsibilities led to Robin’s participation in the AC-GOP as a Precinct Leader and then as a District Captain. This past election she provided training for precinct leaders, volunteered with United Sovereign America and campaigned for candidates with groups of volunteers. With all of her experience in training and team leadership, she will work tirelessly to build the capacity of the party with the focused goal of recruiting qualified candidates to win elections.
Jean moved from Illinois to beautiful Colorado 40 years ago. She earned a BA in Economics with a minor in Psychology from the University of Illinois as well as an associate degree in Computer Science. She invested 33 years of service working for various agencies within the Department of Defense (DoD) and an additional six years with a private industry firm. This provided Jean with unique and wide-ranging experience in a variety of information technology arenas, including programming, analysis, system design, networks, customer service management, and various management positions. She eventually became Technical Director for one of only seven DoD data centers in existence at the time. Since retirement, Jean is involved in dog sports as well as volunteering for multiple organizations including dog rescues and horse events.
After observing unfolding events over the last several years, Jean was inspired to take a more active role in restoring the self-governance intended by the Founding Fathers and supporting conservative America First values represented by the Republican Party by volunteering to serve as a Precinct Leader, Assembly Delegate, and now in her newly elected role as the Arapahoe County GOP Secretary. She’s actively engaged with several conservative citizens groups to help spread the word and encourage conservatives to regain their voice and join in efforts to restore and strengthen our Republic.
