Born and raised in New York City and a lifelong Republican, Robert came to Colorado in 2012 when he was stationed at Fort Carson with the 4th Infantry Division. After his Federal Service was over, he joined the Army Reserve with the rank of Captain. He works in the civilian sector as a Compliance officer and contract negotiator in the Oil and Gas industry. He has a B/A in History from St. Francis College and a Juris Doctor of Law from the University of St. Thomas: School of Law.
As a U.S. Army Officer, he knows what it means to serve his country and community. Mr. McKenna knows that the people of Aurora should feel safe in their homes and on the streets. He will fight to clean up our community and reduce crime. He will combat the disastrous effects of illegal immigration on our streets and in our city. He will advocate for the oil and gas industry that is so vital to the economic health of our state and our individual livelihoods. He will never vote to raise your taxes and will protect our TABOR Funds. At every turn, he will fight the constant attacks on our Individual Freedom and Constitutional Rights.
